Wale Adenuga Productions (WAPTV) has released the first official trailer for Papa Ajasco Reloaded. The upcoming series is a classic comedy centered primarily around the Ajasco family and their comic interpretations to major societal issues. Formerly known as Papa Ajasco and Company, the show points out folly and makes it hilarious.
WAPTV aspires to be one of the most efficient and effective among the world’s film and television production companies through the promotion and sustenance of excellent educative and entertaining programs. The production company is known for Binta My Daughter and Super Story. The popular NTA program, Papa Ajasco and Company, launched in 1996 and has won several awards including NTA’s Best Entertainment Programme (2002), City People’s TV Programme of the Year (2008), and the National Institute of Marketing’s Best Marketed TV Comedy (2005).
The trailer sees a lot ado over 50 million naira and stars Frank Donga (Hakkunde), Eniola Badmus, Moyo Lawal, Ese Eriata, Ronke Oshodi-Oke, Jide Awobona (Iyawo Adedigba), Mama Kwube, Emeka Okoye, Eric Obinna, Dayo Davies, Hadiza Abubakar, Raphael Niyi, Shedams, Ijebu, Omonla, Nnenna, Slimmy Tee and Chief Olododo.
The comedy series is set to air on WAPTV, NTA Network, DSTV 262, GOTV 102, MYTV, StarTimes 116 and StarSat 189. Papa Ajasco Reloaded is supported by KraksTV, GoldMyneTV, Yaw!, The Herald, KFB and WAPTV.
