It looks like Linda Ikeji TV will cater primarily to reality TV shows. After releasing trailers of “Oyinbo Wives,” “Gidi Girls” and “King Tonto”, the TV station has added “Ajegunle, with love” to the number. The series is shot in Ajegunle – a neighbourhood in Lagos and the reality TV show will focus on the lives of people who were born and brought up there.
The show features Sunny Boy, a singer and hustler, Valiant, a barber and hustler, Jairo, a security guard and bar owner, Lucia, a footballer, and Harris, a graduate of LASU.
The media personality promises that her TV show will redefine Nigerian TV. For Ajegunle with love, she promises drama, intrigue, poverty, hustle and grind associated with the neighbourhood.
There are rumors that more reality shows will be announced in the coming months, including one with popular Snapchat obsession, Bobrisky.
The reality shows will be streamed online.
