Imoh Umoren has released the new teaser for “The Herbert Macaulay Affair”, a biopic about one of Nigeria’s founding fathers.
Herbert Macaulay is regarded as one of the creators of Nigerian nationalism, and he set up the political party, NNDP (Nigerian National Democratic Party). The setting of The Herbert Macaulay Affair is in the 1920s.
Imoh Umoren is a renowned filmmaker, who wrote, directed, and produced the 2017 film, Children of Mud. According to Umoren, The Herbert Macaulay Affair ‘is a story about the beginnings of a revolution. And hopefully, the life of Herbert Macaulay inspires us to stand up against tyranny.
