A Landmark Innovation for Christian Entertainment Worldwide
House of Faith, Africa’s leading faith-based entertainment powerhouse, has officially announced FaithStream, the first global streaming platform dedicated exclusively to premium Christian content from Africa. The reveal took place at an exclusive London event attended by donors, strategic partners, faith leaders, and media representatives from Africa, the UK, and North America. The platform is set for a worldwide launch in January 2026.
Redefining Faith-Based Streaming for a Global Audience
FaithStream enters the market to solve a longstanding gap in the global entertainment landscape: the lack of high-quality, culturally grounded Christian content that resonates with African audiences and the diaspora.
With over 700 million Christians in Africa, and millions more globally, demand remains high — yet most mainstream platforms remain heavily skewed toward secular entertainment. While the world consumes more than 2 billion hours of secular content, faith-based content accounts for fewer than 500,000 hours, leaving a massive underserved market.
Adding to this, 90% of African Christians prefer content in their native languages, making localisation and cultural authenticity crucial. FaithStream positions itself as a transformative solution, bridging these gaps through a wide-ranging, multilingual content offering.
“More Than a Platform — It’s a Movement”
Co-founder Kunle Falodun describes FaithStream as a groundbreaking milestone for both faith-based storytelling and African media innovation.
“We are providing everything faith-driven audiences have been searching for — premium, culturally authentic storytelling that celebrates Christian heritage while meeting the highest standards of production excellence. This is more than a streaming platform; it’s a movement to preserve and elevate faith-centered narratives for generations to come.”

A Fully Integrated Faith-Based Entertainment Ecosystem
FaithStream is the flagship product of House of Faith, which is building a comprehensive multimedia ecosystem that includes:
-
Production studios across Nigeria, Kenya, and South Africa
-
Distribution networks, including multiple TV channels across 49 African countries
-
A publishing arm for devotionals, books, and magazines
-
Live events, concerts, and community activations
This structure positions House of Faith as a leading hub for global Christian storytelling.
Meeting a Global Need
Studies from the Pew Research Center and the Center for the Study of Global Christianity show that 82% of African content consumers prefer culturally relevant stories. Yet, as of 2024, most global Christian streaming platforms feature fewer than 50 African titles, underscoring a major gap in representation.
The timing of FaithStream’s launch is strategic: the global faith-based media sector is valued at $47 billion and is projected to grow significantly — with Christian streaming alone expected to hit $4 billion by 2028.
The January 2026 rollout will introduce FaithStream’s full slate of offerings to audiences worldwide.
A Star-Studded Event in London
The London unveiling drew high-profile guests including Mo Abudu (CEO, EbonyLife Group), Zainab Balogun (actress & TV host), Odiri Iwuji (C21Media), Mohan Yogendran (Talent Circles), musician Bez Idakula, former Super Eagles star Seyi Olofinjana, and several other notable personalities.
