How to Vote Your Favorite Act for the AMVCA’s 2015

That the nominees for the 2015 AMVCA’s are out and there was an exclusive nomination party with stars dressed to the nines is no news. The real news however, is how to vote your favorite act and how to get through the hassle that go with the process of voting.
While some nominations don’t add up (let’s get it straight, we cannot all get it) some nominations also seem out of place like the nomination of ‘The Meeting’ a movie released in 2012 for 2014 consideration, no best director nomination for Kunle Afolayan’s ‘October 1’ (yeah, I am an advocate) and the nomination of Kiki Omeli in the Short Film category instead of Stanlee Ohikhuare
It will be worthy to note, that not all categories are going to be voted for, some will be left to the judges discretion which we will hear and try to make sense of on the day of the ceremony. I would love a situation where we have a consultant, KPMG and the likes, give us an update on the number of votes received and the process involved in handling the votes and how the winners
where eventually picked in addition to the judges votes and not our usual run of the mill kind of events, but hey, if wishes where horses right?

While I thought that was it, in terms of registration and smooth sailing of the votes, until I was hit with a copy of annoying aspects that made me feel this was a painful process.

I just clicked vote, when I am not signing off 1,000,000 and still the option of voting 100times, what is the point of this question? As if that wasn’t enough for me, I got this message below:

What!!! What was the point of verifying my email address again? I am guessing the point of all this is so that they have our details so as to send us the unsolicited emails and text messages, however, this could avoided if, they insisted I input my
telephone number. Ah well, back to this:

And then this:

And finally, this!
