I’ve got a great movie recommendation, an old one but truly worthwhile. If you’re short on time or stuck in Lagos traffic, grab your phone for this 17-minute 21-second short film.
Let’s talk about the significance of this story. It protrays into a young man’s journey, facing life’s hardships and contemplating suicide. However, before he goes through with it, he seeks his creator to share his thoughts.
This narrative resonates with Job’s ordeal from the Christian scriptures. Similar to Job, the protagonist faces severe trials and tribulations.
The young man, David, played by Charles Etubiebi, at first considers things only from a human perspective. But through an encounter, he learns that his challenges, though significant, might not align with God’s plan for him.
Life often presents overwhelming challenges. Yet, this film beautifully showcases seeking perspectives beyond our understanding. It serves as a poignant reminder of a greater plan guiding our lives. Take a moment to watch and reflect upon this thought-provoking narrative.
