After four years of waiting, the four of Abuja’s most eligible bachelors return in Merry Men 3 and, with them, Chidi Mokeme. Named one of the most epic comeback acts of 2023, Chidi Mokeme has been seen up and about getting in on the action.
His addition to Merry Men only confirms two things.
One, Chidi Mokeme, is not here to play.
And two, in this third instalment, the tale of flamboyance that is Merry Men is about to take on a new spin of violence.
In the trailer, an undisclosed member died tragically, and they set out to seek revenge against the perpetrators of the murder. Putting 2 and 2 together, will we be so incorrect to say Chidi Mokeme will be the one on the receiving end of the wrath of the Merry Men? We shall see in October when Merry Men 3 hits cinemas.
Starring alongside Chidi Mokeme in Merry Men 3 are returning acts like Ramsey Nouah, Rosy Meurer, Williams Uchemba, Ireti Doyle, Francis Onwochei, Ufoma Mc Dermott, Caroline Hutchings, and Regina Daniels.
Sam Dede and Nadia Buari are in on this too, but in their first appearances.
Fingers crossed on Falz’s and Jim Iyke’s return, though.
In the domain of direction, Moses Inwang retains the baton he was passed from Toka McBaror following Merry Men 1 in 2018. Darlington Abudu remains at the helm of production. And AY, of course, remains AY, the executive producer of the franchise.
Merry Men 3 hits theaters on October 13, and we can’t wait to watch Chidi Mokeme and the rest bring this epic to a close!
