Wave goodbye to dull Christmases this December! I’ve made a fantastic lineup of 5 must-watch movies available on Prime Video for your holiday season entertainment.
Breath of Life || 2023

Since its November release, “Breath of Life” has ignited conversations on every social media platform. Personally, it was an emotional rollercoaster—I found myself shedding tears witnessing how one’s life can spiral downward by standing by the truth.
The movie follows the incredible journey of Timi, a Clergyman with outstanding achievements, as he navigates the emotional turmoil stemming from past events. It beautifully explores themes of faith and the quest to rediscover one’s faith while navigating life’s challenges.

Ige || 2023
Director: Biodun Stephen
Starring: Toyin Abraham, Jaiye Kuti, Antar Laniyan, Yomi Fash Lanso, Kolawole Ajeyemi, Bimbo Ademoye
Language: Yoruba and English
I’m sure that this movie doesn’t do justice to the true life story of the indefatigable and irrepressible oil and gas magnate, Aare Bashir Fakorede. But yet, the 2h 36 mins takes us down an emotional journey of Aare Bashir Fakorede from his childhood and ‘grass to grace’ story.
This is a story that we might never get to know but we are opportune to learn how he didn’t let his hard beginning define his success.

Initially curious about its popularity in Nigeria’s top 10 trending movies, I found ‘No Way Through’ profoundly enlightening upon viewing. This compelling storyline revolves around Jolade Okeniyi, a single mother working for a drug cartel, now confronted with a life-altering decision after being apprehended by authorities.
As she navigates this perilous situation, the movie vividly portrays the tension between betraying the cartel and safeguarding her livelihood and daughter.
