Yemi Morafa has released the teaser for his new movie Funke and the theme of ‘gender roles’ is as striking as ever.
Set in Abeokuta, in 1996, the film centers on a young girl’s ultimate dream to become a footballer. Her struggle to surmount gender roles inherent in her community and family makes for the major conflict.
