Yellow Dot makes a splash with Onidiri.

Talk-of-the-town content creation and talent management company, Yellow Dot Limited, was officially launched to the public amidst glitz and glamour over the weekend. In addition, the company screened the first movie from its stable, Onidiri, a short movie on the hair-maker that took guests down memory lane. The occasion was graced by stakeholders, family and friends, including the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, who was the special guest of honour.

Yellow Dot was founded in 2013 by Bukola Bolarinde, an architect and self-taught artist whose tapestry traverses the Oil&Gas industry, Banking and Finance, as well as Information Technology. The company was incorporated to promote home-grown talents, artistes, original content creation and development as well as TV and Film production.

Speaking at the launch, Founder and CEO of Yellow Dot Limited, Bukola Bolarinde said: “Our vision is to create an enabling environment for a pool of creative minds and talents from diverse fields to hone their skills, master their craft and impact their chosen industry and the world at large.”

In addition to creating the right atmosphere for budding artists, Yellow Dot also seeks to empower upcoming undiscovered talents by embarking on noble projects and engagements designed to create the right platforms from which they can be launched.

As testament to their creative content development skills, Onidiri, a short movie written and produced by Yellow Dot, was screened to the delight of guests. Onidiri tells a tale experienced by many Nigerian women way back when they were children. A tale about hair-making days and the first baptism of the Fulani nomads, whose wives were adept at hair-making but who left indelible memories of the experience in the minds of young girls.

Yellow Dot currently represents seasoned writers and producers, two photographers, two professional dancers, three artists and six actors, including Big Brother Africa’s Bamike Olawunmi, aka Bam Bam and Tope Teddy Adenibuyam aka Teddy A, both of who wrote and recorded the movies original soundtrack.
