From the creators of Best Friends in the World comes Table for Two: A Series of First Dates – an original mini web series with a unique look on work-place friendships and young-adult dating.
Directed by Jemima Damina, the comedic and dramatic series (set in a cozy restaurant) revolves around the efforts of three waiters and two university students who work to increase the restaurant’s visibility while tending to very peculiar and mostly hilarious customers.
Written by Jesimiel Damina and Jeiel Damina, the series is 10-episodes long with each episode lasting an average of 10-12 minutes. New episodes are scheduled to premiere weekly every Friday night on YouTube by 8pm for the rest of 2020.
Table for Two: A Series of First Dates was created by Neptune3 Studios, a film production company serving to redefine the way Nigerian stories are told. The production outfit aims to project a diverse meaning of what it means to be Nigerian while promoting the stories of non-traditional Nigerians through wholesome and relatable storytelling.
With music by Josiah Bassey and Epidemic Sound, Table for Two: A Series of First Dates stars Precious Bassey (as Sylvia), Samuel Ating (as Frank), Emmanuel Nse (as Sam), Gift Etim (as Kate), Desmond Bryce (as Joey), Jeiel Damina (as Bella), Abasikpongke Uko (as Benny), Chioma Ohaegbuchi (as Mrs Essien), Emmanuel Esiet, Inemesit Essien, Wisdom Kingsley, Israel Henry, Amarachi Ihezuo and more.
