The second season of My Name is A-Zed, an original story from The Naked Convos (Our Best Friend’s Wedding, Little Black Book), recently premiered the first of its episodes on YouTube.
Expected to touch on themes and subjects that many young Nigerians will find relatable and connective, My Name Is A-Zed follows how Azeez, a university student who moonlights as a cab driver, finds himself in the dangerous world of Lagos nightlife, prostitution, and politics.
In season one, a series of bad decisions led A-Zed straight into the middle of huge prostitution and political ring. This season, starting off with him waking up from a coma, promises to have lots in store, from forbidden romance to rivalry and betrayal.
Directed by Daniel Oriahi and produced by Ijeoma Grace Agu, the web series stars Bryan Okoye, Chinenye Agu, Toyin Oshinaike, Gbubemi Ejeye, Goodness Emmanuel, Degri Emmanuel, Moc Madu, Gregory Ojefua, Eric Obinna and others.
