Yes. You read right. J.K Rowling’s movie adaptation, Harry Potter, is officially getting a reboot- and trust me, if this just made you apprehensive, you aren’t alone.
Not only will most of our favourite characters be absent in this reboot, but we will also find in our hands, the agonising task of comparing and contrasting.
Yet, despite knowing that a little flop would highly corrupt our Hogwart-drive, a little part of me agrees with those who think this reboot may be the franchise’s chance to finally explore some of the scenes that were redacted from its original a decade ago. Who knows? It may turn out to be able to match up to its predecessor or at least hold its own.
Either way, it’s fingers crossed; waiting to see what Warner Bros has got in store for us and leaving it to Showmax to bring all the Hogwarts and Potter goodness- to our fingertips.
