Uduak Isong Oguamanam has released the trailer for Getting Over Him – a romantic comedy about getting over a heartbreak. The film comes in after Lost In London, the latest feature in the Okon series. Directed by Desmond Elliot and produced by Closer Pictures, Getting Over Him will be in cinemas on the 26th of January, 2017.
Written by Uduak Oguamanam and Bunmi Ajakaiye, the film is another rib-cracking, emotional, and heartwarming love story. Speaking on the film Uduak said, “There are many books (and) shows on how to get a guy, but no one tells you about getting over him if he breaks your heart. We decided to (do a film on one).” If your boyfriend or girlfriend doesn’t want you posting couple pictures on social media, you should probably see this film.
Uduak is a writer and producer popular for her work in films such as Knocking on Heaven’s Door (also directed by Desmond Elliot), Falling, Fine Girl, and Stellar to name a few. Getting Over Him stars Deyemi Okanlawon (Dinner), Bimbo Ademoye (Naomi’s Dilemma), Majid Michel (Slow Country), Matilda Obaseki (Dream House), Sophia Alakija (Silverspoon), and Olive Emodi (Put A Ring On It).
