It has been quite a slow year for Nollywood and any news on new films being released is welcomed.
Charles Uwagbai, director of “Brother Jekwu”, “Esohe” and “The Ghost and the Tout” has set August 31 as the release date of his next film.
“The Washerman” is a romantic comedy that tells the story of a vlogger, KC, who is desperately in search of love. After a few frustrating disappointments, she says a prayer, but when the answer comes, it’s not quite what she expects.”
The official trailer for the movie will be released on July 1, 2018.
The movie stars Bryan Okwara, Mofe Duncan, Judith Audu, Chris Okagbue, Soundsultan and Jaywon Juwonlo.
