The Entrepreneurial spirit: Jim Iyke launches a Taxi Service “Mr. Taxi”

There is a popular saying, “there is nothing new under the sun”, and Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke is taking the quote very well and making entrepreneurial moves while sustaining his acting career.The actor who stars in Merry Men: The Real Yoruba Demons has used the taxify-uber inspiration to launch a taxi service that will cater to people in South East Nigeria.

Jim shared the news on his Instagram, revealing that the company will provide chauffeur services in the South Eastern states of Anambra, Imo, Enugu, Abia, and Ebonyi. He added that the company intends to extend their services to the South-South.

So far, both Taxify and Uber operate mainly in Abuja and Lagos, giving Jim an opportunity to offer the service in states that it has been absent.

An official launch is set to take place in Awka, Anambra State, and will be attended by comedian Basketmouth and singer Timaya.
