Kunle Afolayan recently revealed behind-the-scenes photos off his forthcoming Netflix project, an Oyo empire epic that will be starring Sola Sobowale, Kunle Remi, Bimbo Ademoye, Taiwo Hassan, Fathia Balogun, Adebayo Salami, Hakeem K. Kazeem, Moji Olayiwola, Kareem Adepoju and more.
The upcoming film whose title is yet to be known has been described as “game of thrones recreated in Nigeria but with a better representation of our culture”. Audiences have also been warned of the “need to stay guarded because this one will stir up a hurricane that will blow off the roof”.
A historical story set in the Oyo Empire in the 17/18th century, the epic is being shot on the site of the KAP Film Village Studio and Resort, Igbojaye, Komu, in Itesiwaju Local Government, Oyo State.
