Rita Dominic, Ego Boyo & Femi Jacobs Star In The Official Trailer For ‘La Femme Anjola’!

The Audrey Silva Company has released the official trailer for La Femme Anjola (The Woman Anjola), an African neo-noir crime thriller expected this March, 2021.

Directed by Mildred Okwo (Suru L’ere, The Meeting) and set in Lagos and Cape Town, La Femme Anjola tells of a young male stock broker whose life is turned upside down when he falls for a beautiful singer married to a wealthy gangster.

Shot by Jonathan Kovel, the film stars Rita Dominic (The Meeting, ‘76), Nonso Bassey (Battleground), Femi Jacobs (Taxi Driver, Remember Me), Mumbi Maina (Sense8), Ego Boyo (Keeping Faith) and Browny Igboegwu (Anambra Boys).

Other stars featured in the movie include Brutus Richard (Rattlesnake: The Ahanna Story), Chris Iheuwa (The Delivery Boy), Shawn Faqua (Ojukokoro), Big Brother Nigeria’s (Season 2) Bassey Ekpenyong (Ajoche), Adejumoke Aderounmu (Jenifa’s Diary), and Paul Adams (Hotel Majestic).

La Femme Anjola was written by Tunde Babalola (Citation) and produced by Rita Dominic and Mildred Okwo.
