Redleaf Productions and Ramsey Films have officially announced the coming of Verified, a romantic movie expected in cinemas by 2022. Written and co-produced by Ifesinachi Okoli Okpagu, the feature film will centre on the modern woman, supporting women, and women empowerment.

According to the executive producer, Nonso Adika Kalango (Club), the upcoming movie “talks about women supporting women… Verified is a story saying that I can pick up my phone and call my girl in the middle of the night and tell her that this is what I’m going through and she’s bothered, and she’s not judging me, and she’s supporting me, and she’s taking it upon herself that this is also her problem.”
Co-producer, Nosa ‘Lasisi Elenu’ Afolabi (The Razz Guy), added, “The movie Verified talks about women, talks about pan-Africanism, talks about unity, talks about supporting one another, and saying be yourself, be true…”

The producer, Chris Odeh (Oloibiri, Nneka The Pretty Serpent), said, “this film is a lifestyle film. It’s a film that would thrive on social media, it’s a film that will thrive in pop culture, will thrive with the gen Z and the millennials, it will thrive with the female gender and the male gender. I think it’s a targeted film that has a massive reach… It is colourful, it’s bright, and it’s inspirational.”
Verified will be directed by Ramsey Nouah (Living in Bondage: Breaking Free).
