Actress, filmmaker, and digital creator Omoni Oboli has officially been named YouTube Nigeria’s Top Content Creator for 2025, cementing her growing influence in both Nollywood and the online entertainment landscape.
YouTube’s annual creator ranking highlights the platform’s most impactful and high-performing voices, and Oboli’s recognition follows a year of exceptional engagement, driven by her original films and consistent content strategy.
Announcing the news on Instagram, Oboli expressed gratitude and surprise at the honour, calling it a moment of “shock and joy.” She credited her success to divine guidance, her creative team, and the dedicated community powering her channel. “You captured hearts this year, the algorithms don’t lie,” YouTube reportedly told her during the congratulatory call.
The filmmaker also dedicated the milestone to her partner and collaborator Tomi Adeoye, describing the win as a shared achievement with her family, team, cast, crew, and global fanbase. Oboli thanked viewers for “every view, every like, every comment, every share,” acknowledging their role in elevating her work to new heights.
Oboli’s digital footprint has expanded rapidly in recent years, reflecting a wider shift as Nollywood creators leverage YouTube for global reach. Her channel, Omoni Oboli TV, has been a major driver of this momentum. Her hit film “Love In Every Word,” released nine months ago, has surpassed 30 million views, while its sequel, “Love In Every Word: The Wedding,” released only a month ago, has already crossed 18 million views—figures that demonstrate her strong storytelling appeal and audience loyalty.
