All is nearly set for the release of Guilty, a romantic-tragedy written and directed by Best Okoduwa. The filmmaker is known for the 2016 box-office feature, Heart, a drama set around a man and his maid. His other credits include Bad Brilliance, Hannatu, Mystified, and Yes I Don’t.
From the synopsis: “Chucks is a hard-working and successful family man who is very much in love with his wife, Oluchi. Tragedy looms as the two are torn in grief and confusion with the introduction of an old Igbo myth about infidelity and the death of children. It’s a myth brought to life and validation by Oluchi’s secret affair with Emeka, Chuks’ cousin.”
Guilty was produced by Joy Okpebri and Best Okoduwa through S&J MediaPlus Ltd. The film stars Daniel K. Daniel (as Chuks), Tamara Eteimo (as Oluchi), Stan Nze (as Emeka), Greg Ojefua (as the Boogie-man), Best Okoduwa (as Okoro), Florence Sunday (Seed of Love), Jennifer Igbenovia (The Wedding Party), Favour Okpebri, Valerie Udeh (The Intervention), and Pearl Okpebri.
