Jim Iyke, famously known for his roles in hit movies like Toka Mcbaror’s Merry Men: The Real Yoruba Demons, has launched the first volume from his series of books – The Gift in The Odds: Walking Through Walls.
Launched on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, the book series comes shortly after his debut production movie, Bad Comments, was released last year.
Inspired in the south of France during the start of the 2022 pandemic, the volumes talks about grief, anxiety, depression and all the emotions experienced at the height of uncertainty.
The first volume in the series is titled How to harness your gift and make it work for you in any circumstance.
One of the thoughts pushed forward in the book is that help will most likely come from unexpected strangers (as against one’s family) as it did for the author while he was on the verge of breaking into the Nigerian film industry.
The author also said the premise of the book is “how to understand that every time you experience difficulty in your life or every time you come to a wall, the universe is telling you that God is preparing you for the next level.”
