Come September 2nd, courtesy of the Cinema Exhibitors Association of Nigeria, all moviegoers will be able to visit their favorite theaters to commemorate Nigeria’s first-ever National Cinema Day (primarily celebrated by the UK and US).
But that’s not all; for one day only, all films will be ticketed at a steep discount of 1000 naira, and the best part of this is that you can make all of your purchases online.
The one-day festival will take place at over 50 cinemas across the federation, ranging from Ozone Cinema, Filmhouse, Genesis, and Sky Cinemas in Lagos to Cartege Cinemas in Asaba and even OOPL in Abeokuta.
Says the Chairman of the Cinema Exhibitor’s Association of Nigeria, Mr. Ope Ajayi: “We are doing this as a thank you to moviegoers and to promote the cinema-going culture as well as remind audiences about the magic of cinema.”
So there you have it—an awoof for you to enjoy with your friends and family!
Hurry and book away!
