Anikulapo || March 1st
Saro is back in a new series by Kunle Afolayan. In a race against time to escape a bad fate, Saro travels back to the Oyo kingdom with a difficult task. The series brings back Kunle Remi, Bimbo Ademoye, Sola Sobowale, and Eyiyemi Afolayan, along with new cast members Owobo Ogunde, Layi Wasabi, Lateef Adedimeji, and Gabriel Afolayan. Written by Sola Dada, “Anikulapo: Rise of the Spectre” will stream on Netflix.

Rainmakers || March 1st
In 2022, Akinmolayan travelled to three states in Nigeria and met with twenty rainmakers seeking answers and knowledge and answers to the question, “Can people really make rain or is it just a trick?” His documentary, Rainmakers, will investigate how some individuals can supposedly control the weather by praying for rain or stopping it. You can catch Rainmakers when it premieres on Prime Video.

The Two Aishas || March 1st
The movie “The Two Aishas,” released in 2023, features Rahama Sadau and Maryam Booth as the main characters, both named Aisha. Despite sharing the same faith and social status, they have different personalities. Conflict arises when their husbands compete for the same political position. “The Two Aishas” is now streaming on Prime Video.

Grown || March 2nd
“Grown” is a movie about a teenager who wishes to be an adult to escape her mom’s rules. She wakes up as an adult with a family, but realizes being grown up isn’t what she thought. She fights to become young again.
It’s directed by Ola’ Jegede IV and Empress Blessing Allen, and stars Sarah Obiekwe, Efe Irele, Najite Dede, Patrick Diabuah, Ejovwoke Olikuntuyi, and Oluwaseyi Akinsola. Premiering on Africa Magic Showcase on March 2nd at 8:30pm WAT and Africa Magic Urban on March 9th at 8:00pm WAT.

Her Dark Past||March 3rd
“Her Dark Past” is a TV show premiering soon on Africa Magic. It’s about a social media influencer named Tosin whose life falls apart when a child she abandoned reappears, revealing secrets that threaten her perfect image.
The show is produced by Elvis Damptey and Wuraola Adeniran and stars Linda Ejiofor-Suleiman and others. Premieres on March 3rd at 8:30pm WAT and Africa Magic Urban on March 10th at 8:00pm WAT.

Different Strokes || March 8th
Director Biodun Stephen brings her 2023 movie “Different Strokes” to Prime Video, produced by Mosun Filani. The film tells the tale of four friends united by a common goal, discovering that achieving it demands more than mere unity.

Insecure || March 8th
This movie is coming out on March 8th and distributed by Film One Entertainment. It’s about a woman whose life is turned upside down when her husband’s art gallery becomes successful and he becomes involved with another woman. She must deal with heartbreak and betrayal while trying to find justice.
The movie is a psychological drama and is the directorial debut of Benneth Nwokike. It stars Efa Iwara, Beverly Naya, Venita Akpofure, and others.

Beasts of Two Worlds (Ajakaju) || March 29th
In the movie “Beast of Two Worlds,” a king faces trouble because his wives can’t have a son. He marries someone from another world, hoping she’ll give him a son, but it brings chaos.
The cast includes Odunlade Adekola, Eniola Ajao, Sola Sobowale, and others. It’s directed by Odunlade Adekola and Adebayo Tijani, produced by Lighthouse Pictures and Anthill Studios, and will be in cinemas this Easter.
