Yoruba film fans understand what it means when Mosun Filani appears in a film. And when Biodun Stephen is the one wearing the directorial hat, we all know it’s about to be a bang.
Now, when the movie in question has these stellar qualities already but still goes on to have Jim Iyke, Lateef Adedimeji, Deyemi Okanlawon, Daniel Etim Effiong, Blessing Nze, Shaffy Bello, Kie kie, Lilian Esoro, Lily Afe as part of its cast, then you are almost certain that you are in for a treat.
Mosun Filani’s DIFFERENT STROKES is now in theatres and it will be available for viewing on March 31st(originally March 17 but postponed due to election brouhaha).
The announcement of the film’s release came earlier this year, leaving many happy, who had wrongly assumed that Mosun Filani’s absence from the silver screen meant she was no longer into acting.
And she reassured them in her interview with This Day Live, where she stated that her five-year absence from Nollywood was only a break( to care for her family), and not a farewell.
Different Strokes is Mosun’s first feature film ever and first project after the break- and it will follow the trials and tribulations of four married women who share a common goal but require more than that to achieve it.
