Stanlee Ohikhuare is set to screen his new film, Idahosa Trails, on the 11th of September, 2017. The movie promises to be filled with suspense, drama, mild action and spirituality. The purpose of the film is to bring faith to the big screen and rekindle a revival within the Christian community.
The film was produced by Mighty Jot Studios and will be distributed by Film One Distribution. The story and screenplay were written by Stanlee Ohikhuare. He’s also the Director, Cinematographer, Lighting Designer and overall Production Designer. More movies to expect from the filmmaker include Samuel (2017), Eyo (2018) and Faceless (2019).
Idahosa Trails is about the experience of an American Journalist (David Schifter) who seeks to interview a reputable preacher (Idahosa). This is based on his perception of the preacher’s role in the miraculous recovery of a chief in comatose for six years. He’s introduced to a younger pastor (Frank Donga) who agrees to be of assistance. It’s an adventure to get a remarkable story that ends up in a life changing encounter.
Among the cast are the Emmy Award winning David Schifter, Patrick Doyle, Osas Ajibade, Liz Ameye, Charles Okafor, Joshua Osula, Anita Ohaeri, Patience Usiahon, Promise Ogbonna, Precious Adigwe, Florence Iyamu, Aimienofona Efekomwaro, Anointed Enoma and Jonathan Nwachukwu. The film also introduces Daisy Morsi and Adedamola Akapo, both final year students at the University of Benin. This is their first acting opportunity.
