Conceptualized by the popular entertainment and lifestyle blogger, Linda Ikeji, a new reality show has been announced for 2018, albeit without a release date. Titled Oyinbo Wives of Lagos, the TV show follows six Nigerian women married to white men who live in Lagos.
Speaking on the project, Linda Ikeji (the executive producer) said, “For the most part of 2017, myself and my staff have been working on creating amazing TV content for your viewing pleasure. I told you guys earlier that we are getting a channel on DStv in 2018 and we will soon unveil our online TV network to enable Nigerians in the diaspora watch our content. A lot of our content will be reality shows…and this is the first one I’d like to introduce to you guys.”
Styled by Harvella Styles (Eloy Award Winning Stylist of The Year), the cast include Oby, Michelle, Linda, Kenny, Oluchi, and Beatrice. Oyinbo Wives in Lagos was produced by Eloho Okumo, a TV/Film and documentary expert. The show was directed by Samari Daniel, a cinematographer, film maker, and the CEO of Starry Media TV.
Expected to air on DStv and YouTube, the show would join other programmes like The Black Room and The Interview currently showing on Linda Ikeji TV. Oyinbo Wives of Lagos promises to encompass fights, friendship, and laughter like we’ve never seen before.
