Lagos are you ready? One of the largest ever theatre festivals – The Lagos Theatre Festival – is set to hit the City of Excellence courtesy of British Council. The event is a 3-day experience of part theatrical performances, part real life and part city journey and will transform Freedom Park, born out the ruins of a colonial prison, to a theatre.

Plays showing include:


“Make We Waka” by Look Left Look Right ( 2Pm, 4PM, 6PM Daily)
“Waiting For A Lottery” by Oxzygen Koncepts ( 3PM & 5PM Daily)
“Diagnosis” by Imagine Nigeria ( 2:15PM & 5:15PM Daily)
“Queen of the Night” by Renegade Theatre (3:15PM & 6:15PM Daily)

Date: Friday 28th February – Sunday 2nd March 2013
Time: 1PM Daily
Venue: Freedom Park, Old Prison Road, Lagos Island
