Nollywood actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham takes pride in being dubbed the world’s best actress.
In an interview with skit maker Bae U Barbi, she clarified that the title wasn’t self-proclaimed; her fans bestowed it upon her.
According to Abraham, the “world best” title fits her due to her exceptional acting and beauty.
She stated, “I didn’t call myself the world’s best actress; people called me that because I am the world’s best. My confidence, beauty, brain, and acting are all top-notch. They called me, and I claimed it.”
In the interview, she acknowledged that the entertainment industry favours women over men, attributing the success of female entertainers to their emotional nature.
Abraham revealed that her latest film, Malaika, is her most expensive project, mentioning that she paid veteran actor Emeka Ike and others millions to feature in the movie.
In her words:
Abraham said: “I didn’t call myself [the world’s best actress], people called me word best because I am the world’s best.
“My confidence is top-notch, my beauty is top-notch, my brain is top-notch, my acting is top-notch. So, I am world’s best. I didn’t call myself, they [fans] called me and I claimed it.”
