Another full blown comedy is set to be in cinemas by February. Titled Disguise and directed by Desmond Elliot (Kamaras Tree), the film promises to be a box office hit. Disguise was shot by Wale Adebayo (Amina, Naomi’s Dilemma), produced by Victor Okpala (The Bridges), and written by Patrick K. Nnamani (Stalker).
Funded by the Bank of Industry and distributed by FilmOne, Disguise poses a trailer worthy of replay and the type of cross-dressing that brings Bunmi Ajakaiye’s My Wife & I to mind. The video shows a group of people gathered to solve a 10 million naira riddle. The big question is what do men want and what do women want?
With Ik Ogbonna taking the lead role (remembering his hilarious performance in Showbiz alongside Ruth Kadiri) a roller-coaster of sorts can only be certain. The makeup (by the SFX award winning Hakeem Onilogbo) on the cross-dressers stays undeniably impressive.
The star-studded comedy features Nancy Isime (The Script), Ik Ogbonna, Wale Ojo, Desmond Elliot, Ade Laoye (You Me Maybe), Toyin Abraham, Daniel K. Daniel (Remarkable), and Tunbosun Aiyedehin.
