Last week on RHOL, Iyabo planned a reconciliation following Chioma’s and Tiannah’s reunion fight. Then, Rommel and Faith talk about having a Botox party.
This week, it became evident that the reconciliation was a sham (or perhaps I was just late to the party).
Here I was, getting upset at Laura and Mariam for goading Tiannah and Chioma, respectively, only to hear the two parties at their confessionals, like:
Chioma: I merely pretended to be cool because of my guests
Tiannah: I possibly can’t trust someone who is going around bad mouthing me.
Ahh! At this point, both the fighters and the goaders deserve each other, to be honest.
Now for the Botox party. Apparently, I wasn’t the only one who didn’t know what it was; most of the ladies didn’t either. Faith and Rommel Dey carry us go where we no know😂
The Botox party meant a free wine and dining session and consulting on Botox procedures. And as faces of the party, Faith’s and Rommel’s jobs were to receive the guests before the counseling session and have the counseling session, respectively.
However, only Dr. Rommel delivered—he even sprinkled some Princess of Africow vibes for good measure and entertained us at a party that could have easily bored us all.
Faith, on the other hand, delivered nothing. Guests, she didn’t receive. Dance, she didn’t deliver. 6ft Amazon had zero involvement, in Rommel’s voice.
More like she woke up, stood in front of her mirror, and said, “Faith, I’m going to do the barest minimum”. And did just that.
It reminds me of Chioma complaining about how nonchalant Faith was at her fundraiser. It is well o.
Tiannah’s POV this week is full of social messages, one of which is that we should be kinder to people, as we never know what they are going through. Tiannah apparently has a cyst in her neck that needs to be removed; this is in addition to the miscarriage she recently suffered. My heart goes out to her.
Chioma is steadily brewing her cup of yawa-ccino in Tiannah’s coffee shop by saying, among many other things, that she does not believe Tiannah miscarried. One day, her cup will be full, and we will be there to witness it.
Mariam continues to be her Miss Goody-two-Shoes self, and I honestly hope Tiannah spills soon about Mariam telling her she overheard Chioma say horrible things about Tiannah but refuses to divulge what was said because Mariam believes “it’s not in her position.”
Tania is chilled, owning up to every word she says and getting her bag! She recently wrote a children’s book that she’s excited to launch. I’m happy for her.
Laura is there- finessing Botox in the name of being carefree💀. She volunteered to be Rommel’s second muse at the Botox party. Unfortunately, the injection sites of her Botox treatments continued to bleed. I hope she’s okay.
Meanwhile, can we all give it up to the ladies for keeping their expressions neutral during this injection mess? An iconic moment
Last but not least is Iyabo, the madam lover girl. There is no drama on her part in this episode. The status quo is changing in Episode 4 because it seems Faith is ready to pick a bone with her.
Needless to say, the Gbas Gbos we subscribed to is coming!
Till next week, October 23rd, to be precise, episode 4, airs on Showmax, and I bring you more reali-tea, stay real!
