Folu Storms, the Crime and Justice star, has been selected to co-star with Seun Ajayi in Spiraling, the recently announced thriller series by Wande Thomas.
The series, as Director Wande Thomas explained, will delve into the human psyche and our reactions under pressure.
Thomas expressed, “We aimed for a cast to enhance the material and deliver nuanced performances. Folu Storms, a rising star, is an incredible choice for one of our leads.”
Ogiemwonyi emphasized the importance of casting in the story’s development. Casting director Daphne Akatugba (Pages Casting) brought remarkable talents after reviewing over 100 tapes. Storms, one of her finds, was described as a substantial choice by Thomas.
Storms will play a character confronted with a series of impossible choices, described by Thomas as “a very substantial role, not just reactive, but active.”
Having recently appeared in “Crime and Justice: Lagos” and “Cake,” Storms is represented by Working Talent Agency. Wande Thomas, along with Isoken Ogiemwonyi, developed the story, with Thomas handling the screenplay. Isoken Ogiemwonyi from Studio Ogiso will produce the series.
