Director, Imoh Umoren has us excited with a teaser for “Chairman”, a sitcom taking inspiration from politics and corruption. Imoh has been active through 2018, working on new features, including “Club”, but “Chairman” is set to have our attention when it debuts on TV.
Starring Muyiwa Adegoke, Etinosa Idemudia, Faithia Williams and more, the sitcom follows a rich, uneducated man who buys a newspaper company, hoping to use it to facilitate his political interest, but in fact ends up with a dying business that causes trouble on a daily basis than it makes profit.
The teaser, accompanied with soft music and fun dialogue, brings memories of the early 2000’s when sitcoms dominated our TV screens.
Created & Produced by Bola Oba, the series was directed by Imoh Umoren.
