The Creative Artists Agency has added another Nigerian filmmaker to its slate of talents. The talent agency that represents Mo Abudu will now represent CJ OBasi, creator of Ojuju and O-Town.
Los Angeles based agency, represents Will Smith, Martin Scorsese, and J.J Abrams.
Obasi is a fearless and prominent filmmaker and was one of the writers of Lionheart, Genevieve Nnaji’s Lionheart. He also wrote and directed the crime film O Town, as well as award-winning works Hello Rain And Ojuju, the latter of which was named the Best Nigerian Film at the African International Film Festival in 2014.
The Creative Artists Agency was founded in 1975 in Beverly Hills, California, by some agents of the William Morris Agency. The CAA is headed by Richard Lovett, its president.
