If you’re having thoughts on seeing a trailer to lift your spirit, look no further. From all the signs of the cast, most of whom are my favorite, it’s safe to assume this movie (upon it’s release) would be solid entertainment. The film follows a group of malicious women at an event who are met with challenging trials that they must either succumb to or confront.
The writer, producer and director, Blessing Egbe, is the CEO of B’Concept Productions – the media outfit in charge.
She’s known for Lekki Wives, Two Brides and a Baby, Iquo’s Journal, Keboti, This Thing Called Marriage, and One Room. According to the filmmaker, “The Women is…full of drama, suspense and intense thrill that would keep you glued to your sit… Making this movie was challenging but seeing the end result now, it has compensated for whatever challenges we had making it. We hope that this movie will be talked about in a positive light for a very long time.”
The attention to detail and picture quality makes this a must-watch from the director. The Women stars Kate Henshaw, Omoni Oboli (Okafor’s Law), Ufuoma Mcdermott, Kalu Ikeagwu, Femi Branch (Out of Luck), Anthony Monjaro (Heart), Gregory Ojefua (Room 315), Lilian Afegbai (The Wedding), Unity Nathan and Roxy Antak.
