The 3rd edition of the Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards which held last year had 30 categories and saw October 1, a film directed by Kunle Afolayan, take the most nominations with 9 awards. This year’s list of nominees has Road to Yesterday (Genevieve Nnaji) and Dry (Stephanie Okereke) poised and looking good for the event which would hold on the 5th of March.
It’s interesting to note that two actresses I have my eyes set on this year: Adesua Etomi (Falling) and Nse Ikpe-Etim (The Visit, Fifty) would be battling the veteran – Genevieve Nnaji (Road to Yesterday); along with Mary Lazarus (Don’t cry for me) and Belinda Effah(Stop) for the Best Actress In a Drama category.
Get voting guys and let me know what you think about the AMVCAs this year.
