The South African production directed by Sara Blecher earned 9 nominations in total for Production Design, Costume, Cinematography, Directing while Fifty and Soldier’s Story earned 5 and 4 respectively.
According to the President of the AMAA Jury 2016 Mr. Husseini Shaibu, “This task to African Cinema is over for now. May I on behalf of the Board of AMAA International Jurors commend the nominees for the 2016 edition of Africa’s global reward system for filmmakers. The Board of Jurors will meet in June 2016 to decide winners of each category”
Come Saturday 11th of June in the garden city of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, the awards proper will hold.
