The Nigerian International Film & TV Summit (NiFS) will be back in Lagos from August 30th to September 1st, 2023. It aims to bring together industry professionals and enthusiasts for a transformative event. NiFS is delighted to announce the launch of the NiFS Industry Talent Development Program (ITDP), a groundbreaking initiative aimed at supporting talent development and bridging the skill gaps in the Nigerian film and TV industry.
Under the theme “Break the Ceiling! Identifying Barriers towards Global Crossovers, Positioning, and Opportunities,” NiFS Lagos promises to be an event like no other. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with industry experts, attend workshops, and gain valuable insights into the evolving landscape of the film and TV industry.
The first phase of the NiFS Industry Talent Development Program will coincide with the Lagos edition of the summit. This program will offer a diverse range of training programs, workshops, labs, and incubation opportunities in various areas such as technical skills development, audio and sound design, language localization, scriptwriting, and animation and VFX.
To participate in these enriching programs and take advantage of this unique opportunity, interested individuals must register for NiFS Lagos. Limited badges are available, and early registrants will receive a 30% discount.
NiFS is also proud to announce its esteemed partners who are dedicated to supporting the capacity building efforts of the Industry Talent Development Program. They will be unveiling these partners at a press conference. There’s continuous calls to potential partners, including dubbing, post-production, and production studios, as well as local and international companies with a special interest in the development and access to the Nigerian industry.
The Nigerian International Film & TV Summit is not limited to Lagos. After the Lagos edition, NiFS will continue its journey, hosting events in Toronto, Canada (September 15-16), London, United Kingdom (October 13-14), and Los Angeles, United States (November 3-4).
