The 11th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (#AMVCA11) 2025 was a glorious evening that showcased the rich storytelling prowess, technical brilliance, and cultural flair that define African film and television. Held here in Lagos, this year’s ceremony delivered designer fits (OMG ) as usual, okay speeches and most importantly, well-deserved wins for some of the industry’s brightest creative talents.

- Best Movie – Freedom Way (Blessing Uzzi)
🔥 What a moment for Blessing Uzzi! This socially-charged film hit all the right notes—timely, bold, and deeply Nigerian. - Best Director – The Man Died (Awam Amkpa)
🎯 This adaptation was no small feat. Awam took a Wole Soyinka classic and made it relevant for today’s audience. - Best Lead Actor – Seven Doors (Femi Adebayo)
